Tim is a graduate of Salem International University with a degree in Japanese studies, and also studied at Kwansei Gakuin University Graduate School of Policy Studies. He has several years of experience working at a patent law firm in Osaka.
David Bonnitcha

Yasushi has a Dr. of Engineering degree in electronics engineering from Osaka University. He has more than 30 years of work experience at a major Japanese electronics company. He was responsible for R&D and R&D planning. Member of IEEE.

Friedemann Horn
Friedemann has a degree in electrical engineering, his master thesis being on computer models for semiconductor laser diodes.
A year after coming to Japan, he joined one of the leading patent law firms in Osaka, where his responsibilities included the translation and editing of patent specifications.
He is a registered European and German patent attorney and has prosecuted hundreds of patent applications before the European Patent Office and the German Patent and Trademark Office.
Furthermore, he is one of the few patent translators offering qualified translations from Japanese into German (e.g. for the entry of PCT national phases in Germany).
Friedemann is a member of LES Japan.

After Charles received his J.D. from the University of Missouri School of Law, he worked in the patent department of a Japanese steel manufacturer, where his responsibilities included the translation of patents, manuals and contracts as well as the coordination of an international patent litigation case.
